The 30Hour Fast Kickoff Party is this Sunday at Dickson City, beginning at 6 pm! $10 covers the cost of piles and piles of food, inflatables and other games, giveaways, and all the fun you can handle. The game between New England and New York will be showing on every projected screen we have in our arsenal. Students can be picked up any time during the second half or within a few minutes of the end of the game.

Parties are always a good time, but the reason we do ours is because it is Kicking-Off to the 30Hour Fast on February 24-25, in which students will raise money and awareness for a need in the village of Karogoto, Kenya. At 1/2 time on Sunday night, Danny and I will be revealing what that project will be this year and handing out packets of information so you can go make a difference across the globe for our friends in Kenya. You’ll also have the opportunity at the 30Hour Fast to change the lives of people right here at home by going out on Saturday to participate in service projects in our community.

After a little Christmas/New Years’ break, Velocity is back tonight. Doors open at 6:30, and we’ll get started at 7. Danny is teaching live and we’ll be announcing group options for the January-June semester – expect to see some new ones on the list! There will also be food. Yummy food. And games. See you tonight!

Velocity is Parker Hill’s weekly programming for high school students (9-12 grade). It meets on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:15 for a time of teaching, connections, and interest-based small groups.

Just a reminder that Velocity is NOT meeting tonight, December 21. We’ll be getting together again on January 4. Make sure you are there that night to join a new group and kickoff the new year right!

Bring your family, neighbors, and friends to join us as we celebrate Christmas at Parker Hill this weekend. Services are taking place on Saturday at both campuses at 1, 3, and 5 pm (child care provided for children ages 0-5).
