::30 Hour Fast 2010 ::

Sometimes success doesn’t look at all like you would expect it to, but this years 30 Hour fast was a huge success.  We had to cancel the the Friday night rally and the Saturday work projects because of the weather, but many students still fasted and raised over $7,000 for our friends around the world.  It was an amazing experience as we learned what it means to live outside ourselves and put others first.

Three years ago we raised enough money to install a well in Karogoto, two years ago we raised enough money to send 35 teenagers to high school for the year, last year we raised over $11,000 to start a business, and this year our goal is to raise $15,000 to help build a building for micro-enterprise in Karogoto.
