Quake & QuakeOUT (6th - 8th Graders)

Middle school students rock!  You are excited, eager, fun and loud - so we have built Quake to be just that.  Our passion is to direct all of your energy and passion towards the most important ends.  Through the use of our weekly program, monthly QuakeOUTs, retreats, small group activities and summer camps we direct your attention toward “7 Checkpoints” that are critical for growth.  Monthly QuakeOUTS are planned to launch into each of the monthly pursuits.

Since PHCC is one church in two places, we have a bus that transports students from the Clarks Summit to the Dickson City campus for Quake. Although Parker Hill does not keep attendance of who is riding the bus, there is always an adult volunteer who rides the bus with students. Students riding the bus can meet in the Youth Portal area of the Clarks Summit campus beginning at 10:30 am. The bus leaves Clarks Summit at 11 am, and returns at 12:45 pm.

10:30 am: Youth Portal opens in Clarks Summit for students riding the bus

10:45 am: Quake doors open in Dickson City

11:00 am: Bus leaves Clarks Summit to travel to Dickson City

11:15-11:30 am: Quake begins with a time of singing and worship

11:30 - noon: A time of biblically based teaching relating to one of the 7 Checkpoints

Noon - 12:30 pm: Small groups (split by grade and gender) meet

12:30 pm: Bus leaves Dickson City to return to Clarks Summit

12:45 pm: Bus arrives back at Clarks Summit campus

At Parker Hill we desire to see high school students transition from a faith that is defined by family ties to a faith that is owned individually.  We are deeply moved by the challenges that you face daily and yet consistently encouraged by the strength and hope that you demonstrate.  In light of  varied stages of life, unique personalities and giftedness we have woven Wonder, Discovery & Passion into a network of opportunities and experiences to ensure the best possible opportunities for growth.  These include School Based Coached Clubs, Large Group Gathering, Small Groups, Strategic Service, Advocacy, Volunteerism, iPac Missions.
